I have heard that the best teacher is that which is never in a school for longer than 4 years – so everyone is still a passionate beginner.

However as jobs get harder to find and people want to stay put – I think changing responsibilities would work as well! I will also keep it as new motto.

The article is interesting to me because it describes how I’ve been since college. Learn something, once I get “good enough” move on to something new. I’ve never thought of it as good or bad, just the way I am. There are too many things out there to be interested in, and you can’t do them all at once.

When it comes to teachers, if I have to choose between passion and experience, I want my kids to have the teacher with passion. But the way the system works, I’m afraid it’s hard for a lot of teachers to maintain it.

Tim, do yourself a favor and take a welding class! Really.

Certainly we’ve done a little of that with the fighter verse CDs, especially the first one.
