Blogging/wiki workshop at TIES

December 5th, 2005 | by Tim Wilson |

I had the pleasure of presenting a full-day workshop on Saturday at the TIES Conference. The session, Introducing the Read-Write Web: Weblogs, Wikis, and RSS, has an accompanying wiki that we used to track questions and resources that were mentioned during the workshop. Feel free to check it out for any nuggets that may be useful.

    Hi Tim:

I very much enjoyed your presentation on Saturday. I learned a lot more about blogging, podcasting and RSS. You kept the class moving at a good pace, but still gave us enough time to try things, find things on our own.

I’ve been reading blogs for about 4 months now - I started after a workshop that John Pederson put on for us teachers here in the “North Country”. I have read yours before, but now you’re officially on “my list”! Who knows - I think that I might start my own! (The website I gave you in the reply here is just my “static” school site - but none-the-less, it’s mine - so I put in in the reply boxes.)

    Thanks for a good Saturday!
