I ran across some interactive java applets that illustrate various math concepts. The National Library of Virtual Manipulatives for Interactive Mathematics and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Illuminations sites have nicely categorized the applets by content area. Unfortunately, I didn’t have much luck running the applets with Apple’s Safari browser and the latest version of Apple’s Java download. Mac IE seemed to work fine, however.
