A cavalcade of CSS links

I’ve been on a bit of a CSS kick lately and while this is maybe a little off the main educational technology thrust of this blog, these are great tools that deserve broader recognition. This does highlight one additional use of a blog, however. Blogs can serve as a scatchpad where URLs and other notes can be preserved and retrieved later as needed.

The following sites provide “wizards” that can be used to build proper CSS layouts and navigation quickly. Very cool!

Listamatic, Layout-o-matic, The Amazing Rolloverer, and List-o-matic

Here are a couple bonus sites. The first, css Zen Garden, is an amazing site that illustrates the power of CSS for creating beautiful Web pages. Make sure you try some of the alternative designs in the “select a design” section. The second site is a very handy guide to picking a color scheme for your Web site. I have no idea what the rest of the site is about since I don’t read Czech.
