What can’t Google do?
September 5th, 2003 | by Tim Wilson |I discovered a very cool new Google feature recently. It turns out that Google is now a very capable calculator with built-in unit conversions, support for many physical constants, and the ability to handle numbers in text form. To give it a try, go to google.com and try the following searches:
- 2 + 4 * (12-8)
- pi * 3^2
- four divided by 3 times fifteen
- 28 * speed of light squared
- mass of the earth in tons
- 100 meters in feet
- speed of light in furlongs/fortnight
- the answer to life, the universe, and everything
